1/3 ctomato based chili sauce

How To Make oven barbecued country style spareribs (for 2)

1Arrange spareribs in a single layer in an 8-inch-square baking dish. Distribute lemon and onion evenly over meat.

2Cover and bake in a 350F oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

3Meanwhile, in a pan combine brown sugar, chili powder, celery seed, garlic salt, water, chili sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire, and soy sauce: Cook, uncovered, over medium heat for 5 minutes.

4Remove lemon and onion slices and discard. Lift ribs from pan and cut in serving-size pieces. Discard pan drippings.

5Return meat to pan and pour hot sauce over. Continue baking, uncovered, basting frequently, for about 45 minutes or until meat is glazed, fork tender.

6Transfer meat to a serving dish. Skim off and discard any fat from sauce. Spoon sauce over meat.
