This is dedicated to my parents. Mama likes the ease of cooking it and Daddy loves it served with rice. The dish makes its own delicious gravy. I came up with this dish too many years ago to mention... lol.

Easy and flavorful, these oven baked pork chops are going to become a family favorite. Quick to prepare, they're fork-tender and super juicy. We love how the mushroom gravy complements the savory flavor of the pork chops. A great addition to your weeknight menu.

Ingredients For oven baked pork chops

  • 3 - 4
    bone-in pork chops - about 3/4 inch thick
  • 1 can
    mushroom creamed soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1/2 can
    water (use the empty soup can)
  • 1 md
    yellow onion, sliced
  • 1 lb
    mushrooms, sliced
  • salt & pepper, to taste

How To Make oven baked pork chops

  • Oven preheating to 350 degrees.

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Seasoning pork chops.

    Spray oven-proof pan w/non stick spray. Salt and pepper both sides of the pork chops.
  • Pork chops in a baking dish with onions and mushrooms.

    Place pork chops in the pan - do not crowd. Lay onion slices over chops. Drop mushrooms over onion.
  • Creamed soup and water poured over pork chops.

    Mix the can of soup with the water. Pour over the chops.
  • Baking pork chops in the oven.

    Cook 30 - 45 mins depending on thickness.
