This recipe is from a Weight Watchers mini cookbook called "Fast & Fancy Favorites", A Family Cookbook. This recipe is the first WW recipe I ever tried. Ingredients For oriental ham

  • 2/3 c
    unsweetened pineapple juice, no sugar added
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 8 oz
    can pineapple chunks and juice with no sugar added
  • 2
    green peppers, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    mustard
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 16 oz
    turkey ham, or ham cubed
  • 1/2 c
    cooked rice, per serving (optional)

How To Make oriental ham

  • 1
    Stir juice, soy sauce, and cornstarch, in a large skillet, until dissolved.

    Add pineapple, onion, pepper, and turkey ham.

    Simmer over low heat, until heated through. Divide evenly.

    Serve over 1/2 cup cooked rice for each serving, if desired (optional).

    Each serving provides: 4 protein exchgs., 1 1/4 vegetable exchgs., 1 fruit exchg., 1 bread exchg., 10 calories optional exchg.
