old fashioned ham salad
(1 rating)
Not sure where I got this recipe from, family here loves it. Use about 325 grams / 11-12 oz of ham to prepare this, leftover ham or even ham steaks, which is what I use to make this. This is a basic recipe, great for snacks, appetizers, or even as a filling for a nice sandwich.

How To Make old fashioned ham salad
-
1Use a meat grinder, or a cleaver and a chopping block, and mince the ham, add the onion, mustard, and pickle. Mix together. I used diced sweet gherkins.

2Add and mix in mayo, a heaping tablespoon at a time, until you have achieved a creamy consistency. Serve on crackers, crackers and cheese, or use as a filling for sandwiches. Enjoy.
