2 mdonions, chopped

2tart green apples, chopped

1/2 cbrown sugar firmly packed

2 to 3 lbpork ribs
How To Make octoberfest ribs

1In a large dutch oven or crockpot, layer all ingredients in the order listed Bring to a boil Reduce heat and simmer covered for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until the ribs are tender

2If you choose to use a crockpot, just cook on high for 3 hours and on low for about 1 1/2 hours longer
