found this in a low fat book my mother gave me as a Christmas gift ages ago. It is one ingredient for Italian sausage soup, which I will post .

Ingredients For no fat italian sausage

  • 1 lb
    boneless pork loin, or tenderloin, cut up
  • 1/4 c
    dry white wine
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped parsley
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    crushed fennel seeds
  • 1/2 tsp
    crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced

How To Make no fat italian sausage

  • 1
    trim meat of any fat, and membranes to assure is fat free
  • 2
    cut in chunks, and chop a small amt at the time in food processor or thru meat grinder
  • 3
    add all the spices and wine. process until well distributed thru meat,
  • 4
    place in covered airtight container. can be kept for up to one day in refrigerator
