I invented this recipe because we love Shake n Bake, but I do not like to heat up the whole house with the oven. We are in Texas and summer is a doozy. So, I devised this recipe. It went over so well, we ate it all before I could take a picture!

Shake and Bake pork chops are always yummy and we liked this different take on them. At first, we were unsure... the packet mixed in the gravy was a little gritty. But the magic happened while everything simmered. The pork chops came out juicy and tender. The gravy had a bold flavor with very little work. Prep was very easy for this recipe so it's an easy weeknight meal. We served it with pasta, but it would be delicious with mashed potatoes or rice, too.

Ingredients For no bake shake n bake pork chops

2 Tbspcooking oil

1 smred onion, diced

4 clovegarlic, chopped

1 tspeach salt and pepper

3-4 lbboneless pork chops (thin or thick cut)

1 cancream of celery soup ( or onion, chicken, or mushroom; 10.5 oz)

2 canbroth (chicken, beef, or pork; 14 oz each)

1 pkgShake n Bake seasoning, any flavor (2.5 oz)

1/4 cWorcestershire sauce
How To Make no bake shake n bake pork chops

1Add the oil to a 6-quart Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Brown the onion and garlic.

2Salt and pepper the pork chops and add them to the pan.

3Brown the chops on both sides; turn the heat down to medium.

4Mix together the soup, broth, Shake N Bake, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over the chops and stir it around.

5Cover, reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 40 minutes or until tender. You will need to adjust your cooking time based on the thickness of the meat.
