Ingredients For "nawlins" white beans & yellow rice

14 ozandouille sausage, sliced 1/4 inch

2 Tbspextra virgin olive oil

3/4 cred, orange, yellow bell peppers, chopped

1 mdwhite onion, chopped

4 mdgarlic cloves, chopped
-
1/2 ccelery, chopped
-
48 ozgreat northern beans and liquid
-
2 lgbay leaves
-
1/2 tspthyme, dried
-
2 tspcreole seasoning
-
1 Tbspsriracha
-
2 dashliquid smoke flavoring
-
3 cyellow rice cooked, according to package-add a of pinch saffron

2 Tbspitalian parsley, chopped
How To Make "nawlins" white beans & yellow rice

1Add olive oil to a 5 quart heated stock pot or Dutch oven. Sauté sausage slices for 5 minutes or until golden brown. Add peppers, onion, garlic and celery. Sauté until translucent.

2Add remaining ingredients to pot. Simmer for 45-50 minutes or so.

3Oil a 4 inch bowl with olive oil. Place cooked rice in bowl. Place rice bowl in the middle of a serving platter or bowl. Lift rice bowl and add beans around rice. Garnish with parsley. Enjoy!
