I can't remember a time when my Mom didn't make these. This is a very old recipe.(since I am 65) My family loves these.

Ingredients For mom's ham balls

  • 1 lb
    ground smoked pork
  • 1 lb
    ground ham
  • 1 1/2 c
    cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 c
    tomato juice
  • 3
    eggs
  • SAUCE
  • 1 1/2 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp
    dry ground mustard

How To Make mom's ham balls

  • 1
    Mix meat,crackers,tomato juice,& eggs. Shape into 1" balls. Place in a 9" x 13" baking dish.
  • 2
    Mix sauce ingredients well & pour over Ham Balls. Bake in a 350 degree preheated oven for 1 hour. Baste often.
