Blue Ribbon Recipe
What a simple and delicious ribs recipe! They're savory and the meat falls off the bone after the ribs are baked. We particularly liked the slightly sweet and smoky rub. We prepared them in the oven, but they could be grilled, too.

How To Make marie's i want more ribs
-
1Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Peel off the tough membrane that covers the bony side of the ribs.
-
2Mix the sugar and spices to make the rub.
-
3Apply rub to ribs on all sides.
-
4Lay ribs on two layers of foil, shiny side out and meaty side down.
-
5Lay two layers of foil on top of the ribs. Roll and crimp edges tightly; edges facing up to seal. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 2-2 1/2 hours or until the meat is starting to shrink away from the ends of the bone.
-
6Remove ribs from the oven. Heat the broiler and cut the ribs into serving-sized portions of 2 or 3 ribs. Arrange ribs on a broiler pan, bone side up. Brush on sauce.
-
7Broil for 1 or 2 minutes until the sauce is bubbly. Turn ribs over. Repeat on the other side. Alternately, you can grill the ribs to cook on the sauce.
