This is a great mac and cheese dish to which i added left-over ham. I made it as low fat as I could w/ out compromising the taste. Calories: 500 Fat: 24 grams Carbs: 49 grams

Ingredients For macaroni, ham and cheese bake

    7.25 oz organic macaroni and cheese dinner mix, 1 box
  • 1-1/2 c
    diced ham
  • 1-1/2 c
    reduced-fat,shredded cheddar cheese.
  • 1 c
    low-fat cottage cheese.
  • 1/2 c
    low-fat sour cream
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion.
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/4 c
    breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp
    dried parsley
  • 1 Tbsp
    melted butter.

How To Make macaroni, ham and cheese bake

    Heat oven to 375. Prepare macaroni and cheese dinner mix as directed. Stir in ham, 1 cup cheddar cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, onion and pepperr. Spray a 1-1/2-quaqrt casserole dish w/ cooking spray. Spoon macaroni mix into casserole dish.In small bowl, combine breadcrumbs and parsley, stir in butter. Sprinkle over casserole. Sprinkle w/ remaining cheese. Bake,uncovered for 30 min, or until heated through.
