A sweet and savory way to prepare pork chops. I've substituted chicken breasts for the pork chops, and it's worked well that way, too.

Ingredients For luau pork chops

6loin pork chops, trimmed of excess fat

1/2 cchopped onion

1/2 cchopped green bell pepper

2 Tbspflour

1 tspsalt

6pineapple slices (canned, in 100% juice--reserve pineapple juice)

1 Tbspwhite vinegar
-
1/4 cbbq sauce (your favorite bottled brand)

1/2 cpineapple juice, reserved from can
How To Make luau pork chops

1Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medim-high heat. Add onion and bell peppers and cook until the onion is clear. Remove from skillet.

2Mix flour, slat and pepper in a plastic bag. Add the pork chops; shake to coat. Brown pork chops in skillet.

3Place a pineapple slice on top of each pork chops. Sprinkle with the onion and peppers.

4Combine the vinegar, BBQ sauce & pineapple juice to make a sauce. Pour over the pork chops. Simmer 45 minutes.
