Ingredients For lasagna casserole

1/2 lbhot italian sausage, crumbled

1/2 lbground beef

1 Tbspolive oil

2 Tbspgarlic, minced

1 mdonion, diced
-
3/4 tspred pepper, crushed

2 tsporegano, dried
-
1 tspbasil, dried
-
1 tspsalt
-
1/2 tsppepper
-
4 cchicken broth
-
1/2 lbrotini pasta
-
(1) 15 ozcan stewed tomatoes, italian or fire roasted

2 heaping Tbsptomato paste,

1/2 cricotta cheese
-
1/2 cparmesan cheese, grated

2 1/2 cmozzarella cheese, shredded
How To Make lasagna casserole

1In a large stock pot, add olive oil, sausage & ground beef; brown.

2Add onion & garlic, saute with meat about 2 minutes. Add crushed red pepper, saute another minute.

3Stir in chicken broth, stewed tomatoes, tomato paste, rotini pasta,oregano, basil, salt & pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and let simmer til pasta is tender.

4In a bowl combine ricotta, parmesan & mozzrella cheeses. Preheat your broiler.

5Place Lasagna mixture in a large casserole, top with cheese mixture. Place under broiler for a few minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. Enjoy with crusty bread or garlic bread sticks.
