Kalua Pig is a Hawaii favorite. But it is normally done in the Imu. For those that cannot make an Imu, this is a great substitute.

Ingredients For kalua pork

  • 1pc.
    boston butt, defrosted. (about 3 lb)
  • 10 Tbsp
    smoked oil
  • salt to taste
  • water

How To Make kalua pork

  • 1
    Place fully defrosted boston butt in a pressure cooker. Pour in smoked oil.Add water according to your pressure cooker requirements. Pressure cook for about 30 minutes.

    After removing pressure, shredd pork with 2 forks. Salt to taste. Serve over rice.
