Ingredients For jamaican pork stew

  • 4 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 lb
    cubed pork stew meat
  • flour for dredging seasoned
  • 1 sm
    onions chopped
  • 4 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1/3 c
    rum
  • a little roux to thicken
  • 2 c
    chopped tomatoes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp
    cumin
  • 1 c
    beef broth
  • 1 c
    diced cooked potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp
    molasses
  • 4 oz
    peas
  • 4
    servings cooked rice

How To Make jamaican pork stew

  • 1
    Dredge pork in flour, Saute 10 min. Add the remaining Ingrediants. Simmer 25 to 30 min at a low heat. Place over cooked rice. ENJOY
