italian stallion pizza (my hubby's favorite)

This is a different approach to the traditional pizza! This is a sure-thing recipe to rope your man in and keep him.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
Your whole crew is going to enjoy this elevated homemade French bread pizza. Lightly brushing olive oil on the bread adds a hint of flavor and helps to toast the bread. Tomato sauce with fresh garlic adds a nice flavor. Cooking the pepperoni, salami, capicola, and prosciutto, crisp them up. When mixed with the browned hamburger, it makes this a super hearty and meat lover's pizza. On top is a hefty amount of melted fresh mozzarella cheese. Super easy to make, these are better than anything in the frozen food aisle.

How To Make italian stallion pizza (my hubby's favorite)
-
1Slice all meats (except for ground beef) into slivers. Add to a frying pan and cook on medium to high heat until all meat is on the crispy side.
-
2Brown ground beef with salt and pepper. Dice up green peppers.
-
3Cut 4 slices of fresh mozzarella. Then cube up each slice and set aside.
-
4Grate or finely chop the 2 garlic cloves.
-
5Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Get a large sheet pan out. Drizzle the pan with olive oil. Add salt and pepper. Cut the whole loaf of crusty Italian bread into half. Put the cut side (where the inside of the loaf is exposed) down and rub the bread on the pan where the bread will absorb the olive oil, salt, and pepper.
-
6Spread each slice of bread with sauce. Sprinkle with a pinch of red pepper flakes.
-
7Spread the garlic evenly on each side. Then top with the grated mozzarella.
-
8Pile the top with the crispy sliced meat and the ground beef with peppers.
-
9Add the cubed fresh mozzarella. Sprinkle the dried oregano and dried basil on top.
-
10Bake for 15 minutes in the 400 degree oven.
