Found this recipe couple years ago online. This is the only Italian sausage I use now.

Ingredients For italian sausage

  • 4 lb
    pork sausage , your fav
  • 2 Tbsp
    red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 c
    fennel seeds
  • 1 tsp
    ground coriander
  • 2 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    caraway seeds
  • 1 tsp
    pepper

How To Make italian sausage

  • 1
    Mix together everything in a large bowl. Cover with a lid and refrigerate for a day or 2 to let the flavors blend. I usually separate mine into 1 lb portions and freeze. Use in all your favorite Italian dishes. If you like yours a little spicy you can add red pepper flakes.
