Ingredients For italian sausage one dish casserole

  • 1 lb
    italian pork sausage
  • 1 1/2
    zucchini cut and cubed with peel on
  • 2 c
    green peppers cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped garlic
  • 1 lg
    can italian tomatoes peeled
  • 2 c
    uncooked rice
  • 2 c
    chicken stock
  • 1 c
    parmesan cheese

How To Make italian sausage one dish casserole

    Cook sausage in a skillet until brown.
  • 2
    Cook zucchini, green pepper, onion, and garlic in oil from sausage for 10 minutes. Put in 1/2 cup parmesan cheese rice and mix well
  • 3
    Put all ingredients in a casserole dish cover and bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. The last 15 minutes top with the other 1/2 cup parmesan cheese and return to oven.
