This has ham and mozzarella cheese,that is rolled up in the meatloaf.

Ingredients For italian meatloaf

  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 3/4 c
    soft bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c
    tomato juice
  • 1/2 tsp
    orengano
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 sm
    clove..minced
  • 3 Tbsp
    snipped parsley
  • 2 lb
    very lean ground beef
  • 8
    thin slices boiled deli ham
  • 1 1/2 c
    shredded mozzerella cheese
  • 3
    squares sliced mozzerella cheese..halved diagonally

How To Make italian meatloaf

  • 1
    Combine 1st 8 ingredients.Stir into ground beef;mixing well. On foil,pat meat to a 10"x12" rectangle. Arrange ham slices on top of meat,leaving a margin along edge. Sprinkle shredded cheese over ham.

    Start from the short end carefully,roll up meat,using foil to lift. Seal edges And ends well.Place seam side down in a 9"x13" baking pan.

    Bake 1 hour then place the cheese wedges over top of roll..Return to oven 10 minutes or until cheese melts.
