Ingredients For irish hot pot

6 mdpotatoes, peeled and sliced

pinchsalt

1 canwater
-
15 ozcream of tomato soup

20 ozsausage, browned links

14.5 ozpeas, canned with liquid

1/4 crice, cooked
-
3carrots, peeled and sliced
-
2 mdonions, thinly sliced

pinchwhite pepper
How To Make irish hot pot

1In a buttered, 4 quart casserole layer the potatoes, onions and carrots, season each layer as you go with salt and pepper.

2Sprinkle with rice, then the peas with their liquid and top with the meat.

3Pour the diluted soup (condensed soup mixed with one can water) over all.

4Bake, covered, in a 375 degree oven for 1 hour.

5Remove cover, turn sausages and bake an additional hour, uncovered.
