I love this simple yet filling dish, it is always a hit with kids too. I use a larger dish, I believe its a 8x11 and I double the dough mix, It makes a nicer dish and your hot dogs don't get squished. I put a slice of cheese, and sweet relish in the hot dog slice and then use catsup and mustard as a condiment.

  • cheese, relish, catsup
  • 1 c
    baking mix
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    parsley flakes
  • 1
    egg

How To Make hot dogs in a loaf

    Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease loaf pan 9x5x3 inches. Split hot dogs lengthwise, not cutting completely through. Fill each hot dog with a piece of cheese, relish and catsup. Mix remaining ingredients with a fork; beat vigorously 30 seconds. Spread in pan. Arrange hot dogs crosswise on dough, curving slightly and pressing to fit pan. Press into dough slightly. Bake until bread is light brown, about 20 minutes. To serve cut bread between hot dogs.
