Ingredients For home-style pork chops

  • 4
    boneless pork chops
  • 1 md
    onion, chopped
  • 1 jar
    (12 oz.) pork gravy
  • 2 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 1/3 c
    sour cream
  • 1/2 can
    (2.8 oz.) french fried onions

How To Make home-style pork chops

    Cook the chopped onion in a large skillet until tender; remove and set aside.

    In the same skillet brown the pork chops on both sides; salt and pepper as desired. Stir in the gravy.

    Return the onions to the skillet. Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes if pork chops are thin-cut; 45 minutes if thick-cut.

    Stir in the sour cream until blended. Simmer until thoroughly heated.
  • 5
    Top with french fried onions and serve.
