Ingredients For hidden veggie meatballs

  • 1/2 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1/2 lb
    lean ground pork
  • 1/2 c
    bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c
    finely grated carrot
  • 1/2 c
    finely grated zucchini
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 jar
    ragu pasta sauce
  • 8 oz
    whole wheat spaghetti, cooked and drained

How To Make hidden veggie meatballs

  • 1
    Combine ground beef, ground pork, bread crumbs, carrot, zucchini and egg in a medium bowl; shape into 12 meatballs.

    Bring Pasta Sauce to a boil in 3-quart saucepan over medium-high heat. Gently stir in uncooked meatballs.

    Reduce heat to low and simmer covered, stirring occasionally, 20 minutes or until meatballs are done. Serve over hot spaghetti.
