1 lbsweet italian sausage

1 lbground pork

1 mdonion - minced

1sweet red pepper - chopped

4 clovegarlic - minced

32 ozchopped tomatoes

32 oztomato sauce

12 oztomato paste

1 cwater

2 tspsugar

3 Tbspfresh chopped parsley

1 Tbspfresh chopped basil

1 Tbspfresh chopped oregano

1 Tbspfresh chopped marjoram

1 Tbspsalt

1/4 tspred cayenne pepper

1/4 tsphot red pepper flakes

1 lgcan of sliced mushrooms
How To Make gina's spaghetti sauce

1Brown meat with onion, pepper and garlic. Drain excess fat.

2In large pot, add all ingredients, except mushrooms. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 to 4 hours, making sure to stir occasionally. Don't let it stick!

3About 10 minutes before serving, add mushrooms.

4This makes about 2 1/2 quarts of sauce.
