Ingredients For garlic pork roast

  • 4-6 lb
    pork roast or loin
  • 2 clove
    garlic
  • 2 Tbsp
    pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    oregano, dried
  • 2 Tbsp
    salt
  • 3 Tbsp
    olive oil

How To Make garlic pork roast

    Rinse and dry pork roast,pull back skin and cut approx 2inch slits all over roast.Dont pull skin off roast just pull back.

    Rub all over with olive oil, combine crushed garlic pepper and olive oil into thick paste, reserve 1 bulb of garlic. Insert 1 clove per slit. Rub past all over roast coat really well with paste dont be shy. Pull back fatty skin and rub with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.

    Place in plastic bag at least 4 hrs if you can. Take out at least 30 min before cooking til roast comes to room temp, place in large baking dish, cook uncovered at 450 degree for 20 min. Turn temp down to 250 cook remaining time til internal temp is 175 degrees. This roast smells and taste like heaven. Wait about 10 min before slicing, enjoy.
