This is my own variation of Mr. Food's recipe. I've always liked my pork chops cooked a bit longer than most chefs do, and I've always had excellent results doing it my way. So here is my version with a few tweaks!

Ingredients For garlic parmesan pork chops with pine nuts

41/2-inch thick boneless pork chops

1/2 tspsalt

1/4 tspblack pepper

1 1/2 call purpose flour

1 Tbspitalian seasoning

2eggs
-
1 cgrated parmesan cheese, divided

1 cpanko bread crumbs
-
1/4 cbutter, divided
-
1 clovegarlic, minced
-
3/4 cheavy cream
-
1/3 cpine nuts (pignolias)
How To Make garlic parmesan pork chops with pine nuts

1Sprinkle the pork chops evenly with salt and pepper.

2Place flour in a small shallow bowl with Italian seasoning; mix together.

3Break eggs into a second small shallow bowl and beat lightly.

4In another bowl, mix together the panko bread crumbs and half the Parmesan cheese.

5Dip both sides of each pork chop in first the flour, then the egg, and then the bread crumbs. Place chops on a sprayed, rimmed baking sheet.

6Bake pork chops in a preheated 375-degree oven for 40-50 minutes, turning once halfway through baking time.

7Melt 1 Tbsp. butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat; add garlic and saute for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in cream and remaining Parmesan; reduce heat to low and simmer 3 to 4 minutes (DO NOT BOIL). Whisk in the remaining butter until melted.

8Serve the sauce over hot pork chops. May garnish with parsley.
