These are really good meatballs , I like to serve them on a bed of rice or buttered pasta. I got this recipe from my Grandma Rose years ago and still make them several times a year.

Ingredients For frickadellars (danish style meatballs)

1 lbground beef
-
1/2 lbground pork
-
3 mdpotatoes , cooked and mashed

1 mdonion , finely chopped

2 1/2 cflour ; divided

1egg , beaten
-
4 Tbspmilk
-
1/2 tspgarlic powder
-
1 1/2 tspsalt
-
1/4 tsppepper
-
1 cancream of mushroom soup, undiluted

1/2 cmushrooms , sliced ; optional
How To Make frickadellars (danish style meatballs)

1Combine all the ingredients EXCEPT 1 cup flour , soup and mushrooms.

2Shape mixture into 32 meat balls ; Roll in 1 cup flour.

3Fry in hot grease until browned.

4Place meat balls in a greased casserole in layers with soup between each layer.

5Top with mushrooms.

6Bake @ 325° for 1 hour.
