SLOW COOKER for an Easy Saturday night dinner after all those errands! Use large dense buns and serve with a vinegar based coleslaw. And lots of napkins. We usually make it a little spicier as we like the heat.

Ingredients For elly's pulled pork

  • 8 oz
    green chillis chopped
  • 8 oz
    tomato sauce
  • 1 c
    barbecue sauce
  • 1 lg
    onion. thin sliced
  • 1/3 c
    chilli powder
  • 11/2 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1 tsp
    mexican oregano (better)
  • 21/2 lb
    boneless pork loin

How To Make elly's pulled pork

    Combine and mix all ingredients except pork loin in a 3 quart slow cooker.

    Add pork loin
  • 3
    Cover and cook on low for 8 hours-------depending on your cooker.

    Remove pork and pull apart with 2 forks. Meat should be really tender. Return to cooker and heat . Or Leave as is and add the following pulled pork sauce.
