Ingredients For easy red beans and sausage

  • 1 pkg
    13.5 ounces johnsonville andouille sausage
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 3
    celery stalks (diced)
  • 1 md
    onion, (diced)
  • 1 md
    green pepper (diced)
  • 3 clove
    garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 2
    bay leaves
  • 1/2 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 2 can
    16 ounce each red kidney beans
  • SERVE OVER 6 TO 8 CUPS COOKED WHITE RICE.

How To Make easy red beans and sausage

    In a skillet, brown sausage in olive oil 3 to 4 minutes. Add celery,onion,green pepper and garlic.

    Continue to cook until vegtables are tender. Add water,bay leaves,cayenne pepper and beans.

    Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Remove bay leaves. Serve over hot rice.
