Ingredients For dianne’s pork chops over rice

4 pork chops

salt and pepper

1 cup flour
-
1 cup diced tomatoes

1 tsp. onion powder

1 tbsp. sugar

1 cup water
-
cooking spray
-
1 cup rice, uncooked

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

1 tsp. salt

1 small onion, sliced
-
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
How To Make dianne’s pork chops over rice

1Preheat oven to 350. Season pork chops with salt and pepper to taste, dredge in flour and brown in large skillet. Drain oil from pan, leaving pan drippings

2Add tomatoes, onion powder, sugar and water to skillet and stir til mixture simmers. Remove from heat.

3Spray a baking dish with cooking spray, sprinkle the rice evenly over bottom. Add garlic powder and salt to the rice. Place pork chops on top of the rice and pour the tomato mixture over the pork chops. Top off with onion slices and cheese. Bake, uncovered, for 35 minutes.
