These chops or ham slices are so good you will love to try this recipe on some of your ham slices left from that holiday ham. Ingredients For deep fried ham slices or pork chops
- CHOPS:

4 md1/4 to 1/2 inch thick boneless pork chops or ham slices

william sonoma cajun seasoning or your favorite to taste

2 cdairy buttermilk

1 csifted all purpose flour
-
1 1/4 tspbaking powder

1 Tbspcorn starch

canola oil for deep frying
- HONEY MUSTARD SAUCE:

1/2 choney dijon mustard
-
1/2 choney
-
2 Tbspmayonnaise
-
1 Tbsplemon juice
-
1/4 tspcajun seasoning

1 tspgarlic powder
How To Make deep fried ham slices or pork chops

1Combine flour, baking powder a pinch of salt and corn starch blending well.Set aside. Sprinkle chops or ham pieces with Cajun seasoning on all sides. Dip the chops or ham into the buttermilk and then dredge into flour mixture.

2Preheat oil in deep fryer to 350^ degrees. Once the oil is hot, slide the chops or ham pieces carefully into the deep fryer and cook about 6 to 8 minutes, or until nicely browned, making sure the chops are submerged. Do in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding the fryer.

3Mustard Sauce: Mix all ingredients together. Drizzle over cooked meat just before serving, or serve on the side at the table.
