Original Recipe from Guy Fieri. I just changed it up a little bit. Its fabulous and a big hit at my house! I served them with Sofrito Mashed Potatoes, yummm!!!

Ingredients For cuban pork chops with mojo
- MARINADE

1 corange juice
-
1/2 cpineapple juice
-
1/4 cwhite vinegar
-
juice from 2 limes
- RUB

1 1/2 tspground cumin
-
1 Tbspgarlic powder
-
1 Tbspdried minced onion
-
1 Tbspblack pepper
-
1 1/2 Tbspsalt
-
1 1/2 Tbsporegano
- IN FRY PAIN

6 lg1 inch thick pork chops with bones
-
3 Tbspoil for frying
-
1/4 cchopped red onion
-
2 Tbspminced garlic
-
1/2 cwhite wine
-
1/2 corange juice
-
juice from 1 more lime
How To Make cuban pork chops with mojo

1mix marinade, pour into ziplock bag with pork chops and put in fridge for 1/2 to 2 hours

2remove pork chops from bag, disgard juice and bag. Pat chops dry with paper towels

3heat oil in fry pan

4note---I had to use 2, side-by-side fry pans to make 6 large chops

5rub both sides of each chop with the pre-mixed rub.

6in each hot fry pan place 3 chops. fry for a few minutes until 1st side is seared.

7flip chops, add onions all around the edges and middle, wherever you can fit them

8lower heat and cook for 2 or 3 more minutes, add garlic and cook until garlic starts to become brown.

9note--- the trick here is to sear both sides of these chops nicely before deglazing.

10add wine, orange juice and lime juice, lower heat to simmer.

11slowly simmer for about another 5 to 7 minutes on each side. remove chops and plate.

12return pan to stove with gravy and onions. return heat to boil, then lower again and reduce by about half. spoon over pork chops.
