My husband and son say this is the best pork roast I have ever made. I don't remember for sure where I got it, but it was probably a Taste of Home Recipe since I get many recipes from that site.

Ingredients For crockpot cranberry pork roast

13 or 4 pound boneless pork loin roast

2 Tbspcanola oil
-
114 ounce can whole berry cranberry sauce

3/4 csugar
-
3/4 ccranberry juice
-
1 tspground mustard
-
1 tsppepper
-
1/4 tspground cloves
-
1/4 ccorn starch
-
1/4 cwater
-
salt to taste
How To Make crockpot cranberry pork roast

1In a Dutch oven, brown roast in oil on all sides over medium heat. Transfer to a 5 quart slow cooker. Combine the cranberry sauce, sugar, cranberry juice, mustard, pepper and cloves. Pour over roast.

2Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until the meat is tender. Remove roast and keep warm.

3In a saucepan, combine cornstarch, water and salt until smooth. Stir in cooking juices. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Serve with roast.
