Ingredients For country salsa ribs

  • 2 lb
    boneless country-style pork ribs
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 c
    old el paso thick n chunky salsa
  • 3/4 c
    chili sauce
  • 1 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 2 Tbsp
    tomato paste (6 oz. can)

How To Make country salsa ribs

  • 1
    Spray 3-4 qt. slow cooker or crock pot with cooking spray. Place ribs in crock pot, sprinkle with salt.

    In a small bowl, mix salsa, chili sauce, cumin, and ground red pepper. Spoon over ribs. Cover & cook on low setting for 8-9 hrs. Remove ribs from crock pot and place on serving platter. Pour 1 cup of cooking juices into small bowl and stir in tomato paste. Spoon over ribs.
