christmas in july sammie !

Christmas in July? You Bet!!! Typically, we eat ham at Christmas... and the veggies in this sandwich are red and green... thus the name of this sammie.... I created this recipe for Sherri Logan's weekly contest! The two mystery ingredients were: Country Ham and Green Beans. I think this is a nice way to use left overs..... or just a great new sandwich anytime!

How To Make christmas in july sammie !
-
1Trim the Italian green beans, steam about 5 minutes until tender yet bright green in color. Place on outdoor grill to get a little carmelization and grill marks.
-
2Put your cooked ham on the grill (or use a skillet indoors). Heat through and turn over after a minute or so (just to heat and get grill marks or if in skillet to brown a bit). Repeat, and add the cheese!
