I can't take credit for this one. it came from Taste of Home mag, and the lady that submitted it was Loraine Van Broeck. This is my new fav way to do chops, and GW, my sweetie LOVES them because of the gravy it makes.

Ingredients For chops with mushroom gravy

1/2 call purpose flour

1 to 2 tsppaprika
-
1 tspsalt
-
1/4 tsppepper
-
6 to 8 mdpork loin chops, or fewer chops if you like

1 mdonion, chopped
-
1/2 cgreen pepper, chopped
-
4 ozcan mushrooms, stems and pieces

2 cmilk
-
2 Tbsplemon juice
-
1/4 cbutter
How To Make chops with mushroom gravy

1In a large zip lock bag, put flour, salt, pepper, and paprika. Add pork chops, one at a time and shake to coat.

2Set bag of flour and seasonings aside to thicken gravy.

3In a large skillet, brown chops in butter until browned, trasnfer to a 9x13 pan.

4In the same skillet saute the onion, green pepper and mushrooms until tender.

5Stir in reserved flour, gradually add milk until blended.

6Bring to a oil, stirring constantly until thickened, it will take just a minute.

7Remove from heat, stir in lemon juice, pour over chops.

8Cover and bake at 350 degrees 50 to 60 minutes until meat is no longer pink.

9Serve with mashed potatoes or buttered noodles
