Growing up, we didn't have a lot of...well anything really. So when Mom would make dinner she used what we had. She surprised us one night when she made pork chops in orange juice. We kinda thought Pork chops in orange juice ??? but of course we ate them anyway and to our surprise they were the best chops we had ever had. Even though mom is with our Lord now, we make her chops in juice all the time and remember her in a very special way each time we take a bite. Love and miss you Mom xoxo

Ingredients For chops in juice

  • 1 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 3 c
    bread crumbs, seasoned
  • 1 pkg
    pork chops
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 gal
    orange juice

How To Make chops in juice

  • 1
    Take the eggs and beat them in a shallow dish, Place the bread crumbs in another dish. Dip the pork chops, 1 at a time, in the egg and then in the bread crumbs making sure they are covered completely with crumbs. Put the oil in a frying pan on med high heat and just brown the outsides of the chops so the crumbs stick to them. (Don't cook the chops all the way done while frying) Put them in a 9 x 13 baking pan and cover with orange juice. Cover the pan with foil and bake on 350 for 1hr and 20 mins
