Ingredients For chinese fried pork chops

  • 6
    pork chops, 1 1/3 lbs
  • GROUP ONE
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/2 tsp
    each salt and minced garlic,
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • GROUP TWO
  • 2 Tbsp
    each soy sauce and water
  • 1 Tbsp
    each vinegar and sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    each minces green onion, ginger root, and garlic
  • 4 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • oil for deep frying

How To Make chinese fried pork chops

  • 1
    Tenderize pork chops with mallet or rolling pin till thin. Add GROUP ONE, marinate 1 hour (i leave mine over night). Coat with cornstarch before deep frying.

    Heat oil. Deep fry (or skillet fry) 4 minutes or until golden and thoroughly cooked. Remove and dip in GROUP TWO. Add chopped red chili pepper if desired.
