I created this new pizza casserole recipe. It's inspired by meat lovers pizza, filled with crumbled Italian sausage mixed with beef and mini pepperoni.

Ingredients For combination pizza casserole

2 cmini pepperoni, divided

1 cgrated asiago cheese, divided

4 Tbsppizza seasoning, divided

1 lbuncooked rotini pasta

1 Tbspolive oil
-
1 lbsweet Itailan sausages, casings removed

1 lbground beef
-
1 mdred onion, chopped
-
1 Tbspsteak seasoning

1 tspgarlic powder
-
1 jarpizza sauce
-
1 cshredded pizza cheese blend
How To Make combination pizza casserole

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

2Coat a 9x9 inch baking dish with cooking spray. Add 1 cup mini pepperoni, asiago cheese and 2 tablespoons pizza seasoning; mix well.

3Cook rotini pasta according to package directions; drain. Season with 1 tablespoon pizza seasoning.

4Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add Italian sausages and ground beef, cook for 5 minutes until the meats are crumbly and browned. Drain any excess fat.

5Mix in chopped red onion, steak seasoning, garlic powder and remaining mini pepperoni and pizza seasoning. Continue to cook for 3 minutes.

6Reduce to low heat.

7Add the cooked rotini pasta and pizza sauce; stir together and simmer for 8 minutes until combined. Remove from heat.

8Pour over a prepared baking dish evenly. Sprinkle with shredded pizza cheese blend.

9Bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
