    heat the oil in a a lrg deep skillet on med heat till moderatly hot then brown the chops on both sides for 4 min. set aside, then pour the fat out of the skillet then add your garlic, make sure its finely minced. and your butter. return the chops to the skillet. baste them with butter cover an simmer till sizzling. then place in oven on the lowest rack have oven at 325f. cook for 30min. turn an baste the chops in butter once or twice during cooking. set the chops on a serving platter. the chops should render about 1/2 cup juice skim the fat from juices. pour in 1/2 cup wine boil till juices reduce to 1/2 cup. pour sauce over pork chops an garnish platter an serve
