2 ozvegetable oil

1 lbground pork

1 tspcayenne pepper (can use less or not at all if you are sensitive to spice)

Dashred pepper flakes

4garlic cloves- minced

1 tbsfresh ginger- minced

2shallots- sliced thinly

3 Tbspgranulated sugar

16 oz cancoconut milk, unsweetened

2 tbsfish sauce

chopped peanuts for garnish (optional)

How To Make cambodian style red pork

1Heat oil and sauté pork with cayenne and red pepper flakes until meat is browned.

2Add garlic, ginger and shallots and sauté until soft.

3Add sugar, fish sauce and coconut milk. Simmer for about ten minutes to let flavors blend and to thicken sauce.

4Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve with white rice.
