Everyone I have made this for loves it, and you can control the heat level to make it fit your own taste. Little to no prep time, its a "chop and drop" recipe

Ingredients For cajun pasta

2 packagessmoked sausage
-
1red pepper
-
1yellow pepper
-
1green pepper
-
1yellow onions
-
1-2 clovesgarlic

1/2 lbshrimp (optional)

small carton of heavy cream
-
3/4 lbangel hair pasta
-
cajun seasoning
-
red pepper flakes
-
2 cdry white wine
How To Make cajun pasta

1Use large skillet or wok, over medium/high heat

2Chop sausage and add to hot pan to render fat

3Chop peppers and onion and onion and add to pan, allow them to soften, then chop and add garlic
-
4prepare pasta in seperate pot according to package

5season sausage mixture with red pepper flakes and cajun seasoning to your liking. Start with a few teaspoons, you can adjust later to make it more spicy

6Add wine to pan, lower heat and allow wine to reduce by half; add shrimp if using
-
7add half of the carton of heavy cream, let simmer 5-7 min. Taste mixture and adjust seasoning if needed

8drain pasta and return to pot. Add sausage mixture(and shrimp if using) and stir to combine. Let set two minutes to allow sauce to thicken.
