Ingredients For double sausage casserole with broccoli and cheese

  • 3 c
    seasoned salad croutons
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 4
    sweet Italian sausages, sliced
  • 3
    kielbasa sausages, sliced
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 4
    eggs, lightly beaten
  • 3/4 c
    half and half
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 1 Tbsp
    seasoned pepper
  • 2 c
    broccoli florets
  • 1 c
    shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 c
    shredded colby jack cheese
  • 1 can
    french-fried onions (2.8 oz)
  • 1 c
    shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese

How To Make double sausage casserole with broccoli and cheese

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

    Coat a 2-quart baking dish with cooking spray. Add salad croutons evenly.

    Heat olive oil in a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Add sliced Italian and kielbasa sausages and saute for 5 minutes or until tender.

    In a large bowl, combine the heavy cream, eggs, half and half, cream cheese and seasoned pepper; whisk together for 3 minutes until blended.

    Mix in cooked sliced sausages, broccoil florets, and shredded cheeses.

    Spoon into a prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Top with french fried onions. Cover with aluminum foil.

    Bake for 25 minutes. Take them out of the oven. Remove the aluminum foil. Sprinkle with extra sharp cheddar cheese.

    Return to the oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
