These are delicious and full of flavor, so even my kids love them. A very simple dish that goes great with my gold potato salad ;)

Ingredients For beer brats

1 pkgbratwurst sausages
-
beer ( i use brown ale)
-
1 mdsweet onion
-
1/2orange bell pepper
-
1/2yellow bell pepper

3 Tbspbutter
How To Make beer brats

1Chop onion and peppers. Place in a dutch oven with the brats and butter. Cover with beer.

2Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer until brats are cooked.

3Remove brats and set aside the beer mixture. Grill brats until they get the lovely brown grill marks, then return them to the beer mixture.

4Serve brats in a good sized brat bun with spicy brown mustard, or your condiment of choice. Enjoy!
