This delicious and easy recipe came from a TV program, Talk Of The Town, that features local cooks. It is so easy I had to give it a try. It is so good that I make it often. I added the mushrooms and sometimes add some hot sauce depending on the BBQ sauce I use.

Ingredients For bbq country ribs in crock pot

  • country ribs, beef or pork or both to fill crock pot
  • 1 jar
    tomato sauce, like prego
  • 1 bottle
    bbq sauce, any kind
  • 1 lb
    brown sugar
  • 1 can
    (7 oz) mushroom pieces and stems -- optinal

How To Make bbq country ribs in crock pot

    Fill the bottom of your Crock Pot with country style pork or beef ribs

    Add tomato sauce, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, and mushrooms (optional).

    Do not mix the ingredients, just dump everything in on top of the ribs. Put Crock Pot on low and cook for 6 to 8 hours. Get ready for a treat, this is delicious.
