    chopped carrots

    already cooked long-grain rice
  • 1/2 c
    dried cranberries (or raisins if you prefer)
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried parsley flakes
  • 1 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    allspice
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/3 c
    chicken broth or water

    In a large skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned.
