This recipe takes everyday pork chops to a delicious new level! The combination of all the ingredients in the marinade not only gives the pork chops a wonderful flavor but also makes a fantastic gravy!

1/2 Tbspolive oil

1/2 Tbspsesame oil

1/4 cwater

1/4 clow-sodium soy sauce

1/4 cfreshly squeezed lemon juice

1 Tbsphoisin sauce

1 Tbspworcestershire sauce

1 tspfreshly ground black pepper (i always use mixed peppercorns)

1 tspbrown sugar, such as demerara
-
1/2 tspcayenne pepper, or to taste

4-5 lgcloves garlic, pressed

4 lgpork chops of 1/2-inch thick
-
4 lgbutton mushrooms, washed and sliced

2 tspcornstarch mixed with 1/2 cup cold water
How To Make asian sesame pork chops

1In a shallow oven safe baking dish, combine oils, water, soy sauce, lemon juice, hoisin, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, sugar, cayenne and garlic; stir to combine. Add pork chops, and turn to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

2Preheat oven to 375ºF. Bake marinated pork chops in preheat oven for 35 to 40 minutes, basting meat often with marinade.

3Remove from oven and place chops on a warm plate. Carefully pour marinate into a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer and add mushrooms. Cook 5 to 8 minutes or until mushrooms are cooked. Pour cornstarch, stir for 1 minute or until gravy is thickens
