These are included in every backyard burger bash. They're crunchy and salty sweet, a soft egg bun is a nice contrast in texture! My family loves "international burgers" to change things up a bit and this fits the bill deliciously!

Ingredients For asian pork burgers with teriyaki ketchup

  • BURGER
  • 6
    egg hamburger rolls
  • 4 oz
    mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 2
    scallions, finely chopped
  • 1
    1 inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and finely chopped
  • 1
    small can water chestnuts, small chop
  • 1 lb
    ground pork
  • 1/4 c
    teriyaki stir fry sauce
  • 1/4-1/2 c
    plain breadcrumbs, preferably panko
  • TERIYAKI KETCHUP
  • 1/2 c
    ketchup, regular or low-sugar
  • 1/4-1/2 c
    teriyaki stir fry sauce

How To Make asian pork burgers with teriyaki ketchup

    Mix together all the ingredients for the burger, adding only enough breadcrumbs so that the mixture holds together.

    Shape into six equal patties. Place on grill and cook about 5 minutes per side or until the pork is cooked, but still juicy. Turn only once.

    While the burger are cooking make the ketchup. Add the teriyaki stir fry sauce to taste.

    Heat the buns, but don't toast them. Place one burger on each bun, add a dollop of the ketchup, top and enjoy!
