This a very easy dish.This is my mother-in-laws favorite dish and I always try to make it for her at least once when she comes to visit!Keeps her HAPPY!

Ingredients For asian adobo or humba

3 lbpork cut into large cubes. (may also use boneless skinless chicken breast or thighs large cubed or beef large cubed if preferred)

1/2 colive oil or conola oil

1/2 csoy sauce, dark
-
1/2 cwhite vinegar
-
1/2 csugar
-
1/2 cwater
-
1 c7-up
-
3garlic cloves, smashed
-
3stick green onion
-
3bay leaves
-
3star anise
-
1white onion, diced
-
1 tspsalt
-
1 tsppepper
How To Make asian adobo or humba

1Cook the Pork in 4 quart or larger pan in conola or olive oil until golden brown.Drain fat from the pan.

2Add all remaining ingredients to the pan with the pork.

3Cover tightly and let simmer over low/medium heat,until pork is tender (about 3 hours).

4Turn of heat cover and let stand for 15 minutes before serving.Serve over your rice of choice or even noodles.
