I made this last night for my husband and myself it was so good, not your traditional pork chops and rice.

Ingredients For apple pork chops and rice

  • 2
    pork chops
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, cold
  • 1 can
    golden mushroom soup
  • 1 1/4 c
    vegetable broth
  • 1/4 c
    white wine
  • 1/2 c
    diced apple
  • 1 tsp
    table salt
  • seasoning salt, i use adobo
  • 1
    some onion slices/ rings
  • 1 c
    raw rice

How To Make apple pork chops and rice

    Brown seasoned porkchops in butter.

    Place rice in buttered casserole, I used 8x8. Sprinkle with woreceshershire sauce.

    Mix soup, vegetable broth, wine, salt, and diced apples. Pour over rice.

    Place pork chops on top. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes on a 350 degree oven.

    Note: can be made with 4 pork chops and put in 9x13in. pan to serve 4 instead of two.
